Right when I thought the South lost its reputation for having the hottest dances on the map to the west coast's "Jerk" Durham's Young Swift proved me wrong. I will not be surprised if club goers across the nation are dancing to "Stroke on 'em" (THE SWIM SONG) by Young Swift by the end of this fall. Gradually making air waves up the east coast "Stroke on 'em" (THE SWIM SONG) definitely has potential to become a hit. So you know the rules: check out this artists www.myspace.com/4youngswift, enjoy it, and thank me for sending you to the page.

Umph...She wants that Old thing Back!!!

Remember when Black Star (Mos Def and Talib Kweli) came out with "Brown Skin Lady", or when De La Soul came out with "Ego Trippin'"? These are the feelings M1 Platoon bring. All except one from the DMV area, these guys' sound remind me of rap from the 90's. Scoopay, Sean D, Big Chopps, and Arafat Yates each bring their own style to the group and the vibe is obvious. Headlining the Generation Next Tour, M1 Platoon are leaving the club bangers to the kiddies and making music for real music lovers. In the words of Scoopay "google that shit!". You can hear this track "So Fly" and "Wife tha Rolla" (which I adore!!!) at
http://www.myspace.com/m1platoon. But if you "google that shit" I promise you will learn more and appreciate their savorous sound even more. You know the rules: go to the site, listen to it, enjoy it, and thank me for sending you there.
